I got a great deal on used Canon Digital Ixus 90 IS and an underwater housing Canon WP-DC24 (link missing, the product is not on Canon website anymore) for it from a Finnish forum called snorkkeli.net. The seller said he had only used it at Red sea in 30 meters depth, which is plenty for me. The package came with two sealant rings and a small tube of silicone grease. And of course camera accessories.
Unfortunately the camera housing seems to be missing the flash diffuser plate, which I have to get somewhere in case the seller doesn't have it laying around.
This camera doesn't replace GoPro in any way because Ixus 90 can only shoot 480p video and it just isn't enough.
Can't wait to get in water to test it!
